February 14, 2011 has come and gone
With all its joy and hurt
With its love and disappointment
Some people didn't even notice it came and went
The day was just like any other for them
While people have stories to tell of this day forever
Memories of which would linger in their hearts
Some for the love they gave
Some for the love they got
Some for the love they shared
Others however are filled with sadness
Of hopes dashed
Love un-reciprocated
Dreams unfulfilled
Some have begun the journey of regret
Some would mourn their loss forever
Whichever one you fall into,
I hope the date left you well
Because it really aches my heart to hear
That some people have to count their losses
