Headed in the Solution's Direction?
Hello People
How are you doing?
How was your week?
And how are you preparing for the long weekend in Nigeria (Public Holiday Friday and Monday...Yay!!!)?
Did you think I wasn't going to put anything up this week?
Did you really think so?
Hahahaha
You didn't get me...
Glad I did not disappoint you.
The lesson for this week is that we should turn to God for the solution first rather than consult ourselves, friends, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat.
He most likely wants to tell you something about it.
A solution perhaps.
A direction for sure.
In the stress of life, with the drama on academics and issues with finance.
Work wahala, family issues...
Find God first. It makes the whole thing easier.
Please note, I never said easy...
Easier just means you will be able to handle it better.
Have a fantastic weekend for sure
Loads of love, hugs and kisses as always
From me to you
Miss Onakz...

The story I remembered yesterday was quite funny. Funny now, but at that time, it was not close to being funny at all. A very dear friend of mine that reads this blog, Funke should remember this story. Thank God, we can really laugh through it now and we did not have a case to answer.
As a first-year student in University, I had started to feel like an adult with a good sense of some home remedies. We were in the hostel one day when a friend of ours was ill. She had a very bad cold and our suggested remedy was to put menthol in hot water and let her to inhale the steam from under a towel. You know the process, right? Straight and simple abi. Being the oversabi friends, I think Funke and/or I boiled the water for her and we kept telling her (honestly, I remember that I was shouting that day o) to put her head on top of the bowl and just inhale. Must I add that she was very hesitant to do it.
In my words, "****, put your head in this bowl, cover it and just inhale the steam. What is the big deal? People that have catarrh do it and they feel better immediately. Don't allow the water to get cold. Do it and stop wasting our time... Do it... Do it... Do it." I am sure my voice could be heard from other rooms on that floor sef. After a while, our dear friend finally succumbed and did as we suggested and planned for her to do it. I think I even helped steady her head in the steam well. Next thing, her nose became a running tap literally o. Not small running. I mean filling the bowl running and still overflowing. In a moment, it became obvious that oversabi Miss Onakz had diagnosed the wrong thing and prescribed the wrong course of treatment. Of course, we started to really panic because she was a lot worse than before she had "our" treatment. She soon was rushed to the school clinic where she was diagnosed with bronchitis and had to be treated immediately. If I remember correctly, she was placed on admission too. Imagine if she had gone to the clinic first before listening to our home remedy? Wouldn't she have started the treatment immediately and felt better rather than the punishment we made her undergo.
Quite often, we think we have seem a symptom before and we know the solution of what life is bringing our way. Is it not just to...? It is simple now. A, then B, then C. What if the sequence or logic of something has changed? Will you still be able to solve it? Why not run to God first, rather than ask Him after you have tried other solutions.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6: 31 - 33 (King James Version)
