Just for II

The reality of a table for two is beginning to sink
Two people in their world
Oblivious to the activities around
Two people to choose their meals and enjoy the company of each other
Two people getting to know each other
Two individuals shut out of the world
They talk, smile, eat and laugh together
Arguments could come but its all sorted at the table
Others are there for their reasons too
Some to eat, some to look and some to make fun of the activities going on around
But at the table for two, the people that matter most look into the eyes of each other,
Respect each other and love each other
That is what marriage entails
Its a place, journey and a destination for two
Others are spectators
They interfere by looking and giving advise
But that is the farthest they can go
The seasons may change
And the weather teaches its lessons
But at the end of it all, the people that matter most are those involved in it
No one outside the table forces orders down the throats of the two
To make decisions that they do not want to take
Now I realise that marriage is honestly a table for two
