Life and Times: Plans and Actions

Hello People
How are you doing?
Trust you are alive (enjoying all of life) and keeping very well.
Thank you for the love, I dearly appreciate your engagement, likes and comments (physical and virtual).
Gracias!

Yesterday was Eldest Daughter Day!
If you are an eldest daughter, you can reach out to your parents and siblings to do the needful 🤭.
I’m using this post to thank my siblings for not making the “job” difficult.
Ladies, I’m very grateful for you and happy about the life we get to share and enjoy together. God bless you abundantly.
To everyone that has allowed me to play that role too, I appreciate the trust you have in me.

Life is wonderful, isn’t it?
I was gisting with my mum last week about Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Mother Theresa and Princess Diana of Wales all dying between August and September 1997. Imagine my shock to realise that it was 28 years ago. You sleep and wake up daily only to realise that time has passed.

I hope it’s not just time that is passing for you though.
Hope you are living the life you want to live.
Loving the people that matter the most.
Doing the things you enjoy.
Planning and executing everything you want to.

I’ll be very honest with you, sometimes I struggle.
Between envisioning the life I want, setting the right actions and actually doing the things that will take me there.

Shall we learn together?
What happens after you have achieved the goals you’ve previously set for yourself?
How do you envision and pivot to the next plan?
How do you celebrate yourself for your achievements?
Looking forward to reading from you again.

Have a wonderful rest to the week.
Loads of love.
Miss Onaks.

  1. Struggle is an understatement. Just last night I was about going down the lane of self pity while listing what I planned to do this year and not achieving so much of it when I jumped out of bed and started one of them and I was happy I overcame pity and regret. So one way to get to doing what we envision is to do it right away as it comes to our heart. Don't wallow in regret and self pity, just do it.

  2. Hello Big Sis😁
Loved reading this… thank you for always leading with so much love.

After hitting goals, I think it is important to pause, celebrate and then stay open to God’s leading for the next phase.
    You’re such a blessing to us 🥰🥰

  4. Hello Tola,
    Time is indeed passing by.
And life is going on in phases.
Today I get to call a friend to wish Happy Birthday, another friend to congratulate on the birth of her baby, and yet another friend who just lost her mum to extend my sympathy.
    3 entirely different scenarios.
I prayed yesterday and asked God for wisdom in speech and emotions to be the friend each one needs.
It was a reminder to me that indeed life is fleeting.

  5. Younger sis here 😝
Thank you very much for always leading with love and kindness and continuously role modeling sisterhood ❤️.
Id say that similar to you, I struggle as well with balancing my present and the goals I had set for certain times.
To answer the questions, after achieving a goal, I thank God, give myself a SWEET treat, reflect and move on to the next! I try not to overthink next steps and just do it hoping to figure it out along the way!
